"Dr. Jane Kirchoffer is AMAZING! My cat, Hobbs, was very sick. Another vet recommended surgery, which didn't help at all. Hobbs went through so much pain for 2 years. "During a routine dental exam for my dog, several abscesses and a small crack near the gum line were discovered. I didn't realize he was in pain and believed that his slowing down was a normal sign of aging. After having the teeth removed and/or repaired, he has returned to the happy, energetic dog he used to be. “We changed to Rau/Dr. White after a diagnosis with feline CRF. Dr. White does a very thorough manual physical exam of the internal organs and offers a lot of options and information. I was told by one of the staff members that she has done additional research and work with feline kidney problems. The practice is clean and friendly and has terrific hours. They sell the prescription foods by the can so you can try out different ones to find what works (they have 3 varieties for CRF cats) and can also order it by the case. They offer 2 types of CRF dry food, which you do need to buy in a fairly large bag. They are a little on the pricey side, but with a sick pet especially, they do take a lot of time with you and you feel you are getting very thorough care. “Thank you.....Winston, my cat, saw something fly into the apartment and immediately caught it....but it was a yellow jacket and the bee stung him on his mouth. I called the Rau Jenkintown office where I usually go and told them what happened. I got a nurse on the phone immediately and she suggested I bring him in. It was Friday 5:00 PM rush hour I asked if I could bring Winston to the Willow Grove office 2 minutes from my house.
